World Water Day

The United Nations recognizes March 22 every year as World Water Day to bring awareness to the global water crisis and support UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 - water and sanitation for all by 2030. This day is important to us because we believe that a healthier world for all begins with equitable access to clean and abundant water.

The facts

1 in 4 people globally do not have access to safe drinking water - that's 2.2 billion people.

Making an impact together

Over 1% of Liquid I.V.’s revenue funds our impact program. Our ongoing initiatives will help provide clean water access to 2M people globally by 2026. What we do: Liquid I.V. collaborates with leading organizations to fund clean water access programs domestically and globally. From building water wells in Bolivia with Water for People, to maintaining water pipe infrastructure in Appalachia with Dig Deep, expanding clean water access is at the core of Liquid I.V.’s DNA.

How we’re doing it:

We are working with 18 expert water partners across the globe who are affecting real change and touching real lives. Their work ranges from policy research to educating communities about clean water access to installing infrastructure that connects homes with water lines.

WE FUND PROJECTS

From MAP International’s distribution of hand pumps in rural Liberia to Waterkeeper Alliance’s work to evaluate the Clean Water Act, we fund meaningful, lasting and community-first initiatives.

WE INVEST IN THE FUTURE

We further strengthen the domestic water community by hosting an annual summit where organizations convene and collaborate to address clean water access in the United States.
